Aurélie COLLIN, educator trained at the Higher Institute Maria Montessori, approved by the International Montessori Association (AMI). She trained as an engineer and managed an innovation center for artisans, then a Parisian CFA in Gastronomy before discovering Montessori pedagogy.

I have a degree in Education Studies from the University of Greenwich in London. After my degree, I worked abroad in Hong Kong teaching English to 3 year olds.

After studying philosophy and a career in the cultural press as a journalist and photographer, I became interested in different active pedagogies after having carried out a survey on active pedagogies. Maria Montessori's approach really convinced me: I enrolled my two daughters in a “children's home” when the Montessori Here & Now school was opening. After two years of training at CFMF, AMI center in Haute-Savoie, I became an educator for children aged 6 to 12. In order to further explore the universe of multilingualism, I moved to Morocco for a year in the cosmopolitan school of Casablanca and returned since September 2018 to continue my work with children in this class that I had inaugurated in 2015. . Today I continue to develop professionally with the IMC (International Montessori Council), to follow MOOCs to perfect my knowledge (botany, phylogenetics, emotional education, etc.) while deepening certain areas that are dear to my heart such as leading philosophical discussions with children thanks to the training provided by the SEVE association.

I joined the Montessori Here and Now School team since November 2018. After a year of training at the Higher School of Teaching and Education, I integrated a State Diploma of Educators from Young Children to better understand how the child perceives the world. This gave me the opportunity to work in a Montessori school where I discovered and learned, through the children, the benefits of this pedagogy which deeply upset my reflections on the role of the adult. with the child.

Since my arrival in France, I also acquired my diploma in French lingustique.
I had been working with different schools at Plessis Trevise as an English Animateur.

I joined our children house in 2020 as an english speaker, working with Maria Montessori's principles.
