This concept of autonomy is a pillar of Montessori pedagogy. In fact, in a well-prepared class, the adult guides the children towards constructive and engaging development activities. Each child is given the time to develop skills and an inner discipline, known as personal, which allow him to fully and respectfully enjoy the freedom offered to him. Thus, during a period of about 3 hours, each one evolves according to his own motive, his own rhythm, his own momentum, his own motivation, his own choice, in a great discipline breathing freedom.
